South Winchester Lodges- Longer stays

We are fortunate that our lodges have a unique setting and therefore we can continue to carry on accommodating guests in a safe environment for longer stays. Our luxury Self-contained lodges offer the perfect location. Each lodge provides independent accommodation, maintained to the highest hygiene standards and could offer the perfect safe haven for guests. We would like to reassure you of the following points.

  • Other than our guest putting green there are no communal areas on site and we offer a Self-service check-in where your key is left in the door on arrival. There is no contact with staff or other guests on arrival or during your stay. We are of course on the end of the phone 24-7 should you need anything during your stay.
  • Our already high hygiene standards now include extra treatment of surfaces with extra attention to commonly touched areas such as door handles etc with industry recommended cleaning products.

South Winchester Lodges- Short Holiday Let Stays

As a family we have taken the extremely difficult decision to close our lodges to all short holiday let bookings with a check in date between Saturday 28th March- 22nd April. We continue to remain open for longer stay guests who are able to use our self-contained lodges as alternative accommodation.

This has been the toughest business decision we have had to make as a family as the ripple effect to our guests, staff and suppliers is huge. However we feel it is the right decision in light of the Government’s announcements and guidance to avoid unnecessary travel.

For guests arriving within these dates we would like to offer a number of options below that would enable you to transfer your holiday with us. We hope that you understand the decision we have taken as a business and see the benefit that transferring your booking until a later date will have on local people, suppliers and business that we support. Our lodges are a beautiful place for you to enjoy a holiday once the government guidance allows us all to travel.

For Guests with a check in date from Monday 23rd March- 22nd April

  • Transfer your holiday dates (subject to availability). If the replacement holiday is of a lesser value then we will refund the difference if the holiday is of a greater value then you will need to cover the difference.
  • A credit note for the value of your booking. When you are ready to rebook then this can be used against any break booked with us until 31st December 2021.

 For guests arriving after 22nd April

  • We continue to follow our normal cancellation policy click here.
  • It is also possible to transfer your holiday to alternate dates
  • We can issue you a credit note to be used against a future break if you would prefer.

This is just a short term measure that we will continue to monitor and update guests through our website. Due to the high volumes of enquiries we would kindly ask that you contact us via email ( ) and avoid calling as we try and manage our current situation.
